Vicky and guitar legend Carl Lockett  have been playing grooves around the San Francisco Bay Area for twelve years. They play with chemistry and virtuosity while keeping the feelin' great! They play everything from jazz standards to the latest pop hits. Sometimes a quiet, yet still thrilling duo, and adding phenomenal drummer, Rob Rhodes (Ledisi, Mary Wilson, Joyce Cooling, Dara Tucker, Rueben Wilson, Ed Kelly, Robert Stewart , Mel Saunders, Faye Carol, Denise Pierre, Carla Cook, Regina Carter, Ray Obiedo, Tony Lindsay (from Santana), The Fred Ross Project) when expanded to trio form.

The musical technique Carl Lockett employs is spellbinding, absolutely captivating, and reveals why he has audiences standing on their feet. For his extraordinary musical expression on the guitar, Lockett has received many notable accolades while participating in recording sessions and touring throughout the United States, Europe and Asia with great artists such as, Esther Phillips, The Platters, The Ink Spots, Big Mama Thornton, Jackie Wilson, The Drifters, Papa John Creach, Brook Benton, Dakota Staton, The Coasters, Bill Summers, Chuck Mangione, Randy Crawford, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Hank Crawford, Jimmy McGriff, Plaz Johnson, Tammy Terrell and David Ruffin. His great musical talents have been on display at many well-known festivals and venues including the NORTH SEA and MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVALS, all three Blue Note Clubs in Japan and the 1980 Winter Olympics. He also wowed audiences with an unparalleled performance at the 50TH ANNIVERSARY MONTEREY JAZZ FESTIVAL in 2007 with Joey DeFrancesco. His impressive career includes a motion picture role as a nightclub band member in the Academy Award nominated Peggy Sue Got Married, an appearance on The Tonight Show performing with Chuck Mangione. He also performed on the soundtrack for The Twilight Zone with Merl Saunders, and the soundtrack for Cannonball Run with Burt Reynolds. Lockett can groove you, he can smooth jazz you, he can hard rock you, and he can lullaby you.
